The Santa Barbara Bucket Brigade prepares for and responds to natural disasters and community crises through volunteer training, coordination, and deployment.
Our preparedness approach starts with the foundation of community and connection. Community resilience is possible when neighbors know each other and stand ready to assist one another in a time of need.
Organized volunteers are a tremendous community resource: for disaster relief and recovery, as well as community uplift and improvement. We offer a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for training, uplift, and relief deployment.

Bucket Brigade Annual Membership provides the foundation of support on which our programs are built. By joining the Bucket Brigade, you are supporting community resilience projects and volunteer training throughout Santa Barbara County.
